Solar Seal announces plans for an additional manufacturing space

The Solar Seal Company has announced their plans to add an additional 20,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space taking them to nearly a 100,000 sq. ft facility. This project, which has been several years in the works, has finally received approval from the town and the abutters allowing Solar Seal to significantly expand their operations.

"We are very excited about this project" said Frederic (Rick) Shaw. The President of Solar Seal continued, "This is the longest period of time Solar Seal has ever gone without making significant increases to its manufacturing facility in terms of both size and machinery. The new addition will give us the room we need to add a new Tamglass™ Convection Tempering Furnace as well as several other pieces of equipment. It will also allow us to turn-out our products faster and with better quality than ever before."

Construction is slated to begin in early July and should be substantially completed by September. Watch the Solar Seal website for more updates and daily pictures of the construction as it moves along.
