November 7, 2005 Solar Seal to install new fabrication equipmentSolar Seal has purchased and will be receiving shipment of a new Forvet Francesca glass milling and drilling machine in November 2005. This machine will further expand Solar Seal's ability to quickly and accurately process fabricated glass products like shower doors and large runs of glass with holes and/or cutouts. This CNC work center will reduce the time it takes to rout, mill, and drill products like shower doors because of its easy to use operator interface, quick tool changes, accurate dimensioning capabilities, and superior quality. This will in turn reduce the amount of time required to process fabricated glass products which means reduced lead times and ultimately even better quality and service from Solar Seal. Solar Seal will still retain its Intermac machine which will be used more for complicated milling and routing functions like internal polished cutouts, irregular shapes, and larger pieces as opposed to 3/8" and 1/2" shower doors for which the Forvet Francesca is specifically engineered. |
